For Men

According to the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), the number of aesthetic plastic surgery procedures for men has increased by more than 106% between 1997 and 2012. Currently, the most popular aesthetic plastic surgery procedures for men are liposuction, rhinoplasty (nose job), eyelid surgery, gynescomastia (removal of breast tissue), and ear shaping.

Male Facial Surgery

(Blepharoplasty, Canthoplasty, Otoplasty, Rhinoplasty)

When it comes to men and aesthetic plastic surgery, facial lifts must be approached delicately in order to create the subtle changes that aging men typically want. Dr. Liang is among the most experienced surgeons in Pittsburgh in achieving natural-looking, masculine results.

Male Body Surgery

(Liposuction, Male Breast Reduction)

Gynecomastia refers to a condition in which the male breast tissue becomes overly developed. This usually is due to hormonal changes or weight gain. In cases where the tissue is mainly comprised of fat, liposuction is usually sufficient in reducing it. However, when there’s a high gland component, liposuction is first recommended to take as much excess fat as possible and then a small periareolar incision is made to extract the glandular tissue, which may sometime leave a small subtle mark. On extreme cases where excess skin is an issue, a breast lift would be needed.
