Septoplasty

A septoplasty is a surgical procedure that addresses nasal airway obstruction causing breathing issues. Difficulty breathing through your nose may be caused by several reasons (allergies, polyps), but if you have a deviated (crooked) septum which obstructs your nasal airway, then correction of this problem can be done to open your nasal airway.

Patients seeking this procedure have a history of breathing issues that either they were born with or obtained from injury. Commonly, the procedure is covered by insurances; however, you must be examined by Dr. Liang and have a thorough history documented to be submitted to your insurance company. Plus, if injury did occur, please bring documentation of ER visit to your consultation.

This procedure is relatively painless and can be done in conjunction with a rhinoplasty (nose job).
